The Premier League will no longer support Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign next season. After more than a decade backing the initiative – which saw players wear rainbow laces and captains don pride armbands – the league has now removed all references to the campaign from its website. Instead, it is launching its own LGBTQ+ inclusion campaign, tied to LGBT+ History Month and Football v Homophobia’s Month of Action.
