The Alabama Museum of Natural History announced crews have found a fossil of a tooth that belonged to a hadrosaur, also known as a duck-billed dinosaur.
The discovery came from a location about an hour outside of Tuscaloosa, where the department takes volunteers to look for fossils.
Even the researcher who found the fossil was surprised.
