39-year-old Kendrick Lee Pate of West Blocton was taken into custody during a traffic stop on July 31 in Shelby County. This after he was indicted by a Bibb County grand jury and a warrant issued for his arrest. Court records show Lee is charged with sex abuse of a child less than 12 years old, sodomy, aggravated child abuse, and child abuse torture. He's being held without bond in the Bibb County Jail.
