History at Fenway. 🙌⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ For the first time in franchise history, the Boston Red Sox aired an entirely female-led broadcast, marking a groundbreaking moment in baseball and sports media. 👏⁣ ⁣ As part of Women’s Celebration Night at Fenway Park, play-by-play announcer Emma Tiedemann and color analyst Alanna Rizzo called the game from the NESN booth, making history as the first all-woman duo to do so for a full Red Sox game.⁣ ⚾⁣ ⁣⁣ The historic night didn’t stop at the booth. Kasey Hudson took over sideline duties, while Natalie Noury anchored the NESN studio show and Jen McCaffrey served as studio analyst. 🤩⁣ ⁣ Behind the scenes, over a dozen women, including lead game producer Amy Kaplan, helped bring the broadcast to life, making the production as powerful off the field as it was on the air.⁣ 📺⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣It's giving WOMEN IN SPORTS, and we love it! 💜 #thegist⁣ ⁣ #mlb #womeninsports #baseball #menssports #sportsmedia #nesn
