You spoke up for public lands. And Congress listened.   The reconciliation bill amendment ordering the sale of hundreds of thousands of public lands in Nevada and Utah has been removed from the House legislation. Trout Unlimited (TU) applauds Representatives Zinke (R-MT) and Vasquez (D-NM) for their leadership to keep public land sales out of the reconciliation process and looks forward to working with the newly formed bipartisan Public Lands Caucus to keep public lands in public hands.    Make no mistake: This win would not have been possible without the 8,000 TU advocates who stood up for public lands.   While anglers, hunters, and public land users should be celebrating this win today, the fight to stop public land sell off is not over. TU will continue to stand up against any similar efforts to sell public lands in the reconciliation process as the bill moves to the Senate after passing out of the House.    In other words, today is a good day, but the fight is far from over.
