Over 30,000 players have made the NFL - but only one made the Hall of Fame without playing a single down of college football: Antonio Gates. He went to Kent State for basketball, averaging 20+ points and leading them to the 2002 Elite Eight. Football wasn’t in the plans - until the Chargers took a shot. Three years later, he’s an All-Pro. 1,000+ catches. 12,000 yards. 116 TDs — the most ever by a tight end. #antoniogates #nfl #halloffame
