❗️Tiah McCreary, an Ohio woman, made headlines after executing a bold legal move against Taylor Kia of Lima, the dealership that repossessed her 2022 Kia K5. She had purchased the vehicle with what appeared to be a finalized loan, but the lender later revoked financing due to income verification issues. While McCreary was at work, the dealership took the car back. Upset and determined to fight back, McCreary discovered that the dealership had failed to renew its business trade name with the state of Ohio. Taking advantage of the lapse, she legally registered the name “Taylor Kia of Lima” under her own name and sent a cease-and-desist order to the dealership, effectively blocking them from using their own name in business.
