🏓 Don’t be THAT player on National Pickleball Day. Avoid these 3 rookie mistakes. 👇 1️⃣ Skipping the line An open court doesn’t always mean it’s your turn. Many facilities use a “paddle up system.” Players place paddles in a holder outside the court to form a queue. Always check the line before jumping in and move your paddle forward as others play. 2️⃣ Chasing stray balls Don’t sprint into someone else’s game. Yell “Ball!” and wait for it to be returned safely. 3️⃣ Gripping the paddle wrong Hold your paddle out to the side, not flat to your chest. It makes a huge difference in quick volleys.
