Scout sent me a DM a weeks ago telling me Sophia’s story & asking me if I could get a photo in stadium. Sophia has the same disability as Scout and did a whole school project on her! ⁣ I had a meeting with TrackTown the next day so I pitched the idea of not only a photo, but having our social on it as well. I knew maddycastleberry would do a great job and it’s exactly the type of BTS people want to see. ⁣Teamwork!! ⁣ We also got to bring Sophia track side instead of doing this in the concourse.⁣ Fan experience at Hayward is unmatched. ⁣ From a photographer’s point of view I looked at each location (sun vs shade), where Scout would finish, what made sense, which section had the most room for Sophia, which section had the less amount of ad boards, what the background would look like etc⁣ - (I went with the Canon 16-35) What I was not expecting was Scout giving her medal to Sophia! ⁣Are you kidding me??? ⁣ These are the type of moments I live for as a photographer, being able to be at t...
