Seeing a lot of the Faroe Islands by bus might not be something that you immediately think of as being really enjoyable but my experience with Viking Cruises taking a bus around the islands was truly inspiring. It was essentially just a road trip. And I love road trips! Plus, regular Faroese buses service almost all 18 islands, so you too can see a lot even if you don’t rent your own car. We stopped in little villages, one in which we had coffee and cake in the home of some locals. At another stop, young women rode by on ponies. Twice. A young boy was fishing by a red and white church that for some reason really captivated me. We saw what must be the world’s smallest and most minimal security prison. See if you can guess what photo shows that! In fact I was so distracted by how beautiful it *all* was that I didn’t take great notes so I can specify each location. Still, I hope you’ll be as inspired as I was just by seeing it through my lens. 🙏🏼💚 And I hope seeing it all in person is ...
