The Geez Louise team is no stranger to the Care Dimensions Walk for Hospice. Lisa Dana and Tina Morris created the team in honor of their mother Louise, who was cared for by the Care Dimensions Hospice team at Salem Hospital. Lisa and Tina have supported Care Dimensions through their non-profit organization Ladybug Love. What has become a tradition in their family, Lisa and Tina said that their family gathers for breakfast after the event and looks through old family photos. But they also say that the Walk connects many people at the event, even strangers in their shared remembrance of their loved ones, "It's inspiring to see all these families," Tina says. "It's sad, but heartwarming when you see families that all have matching shirts or some symbol of their loved one that's passed away. It's an incredibly motivating way to connect with other people."
