Valory is a Switzerland-based team developing open-source frameworks for co-owned artificial intelligence systems. According to the company’s website, Valory focuses on combining multi-agent systems (MAS) and distributed ledger technology (DLT) to create autonomous AI agents that can be owned and operated by communities, organizations, and individuals. Valory is a core contributor to Olas, a protocol for decentralized, ownable AI agents, and has developed products such as Pearl, a consumer-facing “agent app store,” and the Mech Marketplace for enterprises. In a May 2025 announcement, Valory reported the appointment of founding team member Gemma Welsh as CEO and the ongoing growth of its ecosystem, which now includes over 600 active agents and 6 million transactions.
