“Moving from Dubai to Canada was a whirlwind — a new country, a new climate (I can proudly say I have now lived through both -50°C ❄️ and +50°C ☀️) and an entirely new academic experience. Adjusting to university life at the U of A came with its challenges, but it also shaped me in ways I never expected. I learned that accounting is about more than just numbers, but about understanding the bigger picture. It has shown me how financial decisions shape businesses, how problem-solving is as much about strategy as it is about calculations and how every challenge is a chance to grow.
