“From starting university during peak COVID to transferring programs and universities, my undergrad journey has been full of twists and turns. Discovering the U of A’s co-op program helped me find my footing. I discovered the power of connections; whether in class or during my internships, going the extra mile with peers, professors and corporate leaders has opened doors my first-year self could have never imagined. Beyond academics, I also found community in dance — teaching at university clubs, supporting my studio’s operations and business strategy and joining teams that continuously push my skills. I’m grateful to the Commerce program for providing the flexibility and balance to stay connected to what I love while applying my learning in meaningful, real-word settings!”
