Last fall I got to work with the Elakha Alliance. This organization is focused on restoring a healthy population of Sea Otters to the Oregon coast. My involvement was to design a logo for their upcoming beer festival held at OMSI. The design above features a sea otter enjoying an urchin snack while sipping an urchin-inspired beer. The background, shaped like the state of Oregon represents a thriving kelp forest. I also went with a condensed typeface to complement the slender body of the sea otter.
