The exploit, dubbed AgentFlayer, worked through ChatGPT’s Connectors tool. Connectors debuted in June and allows you to add external services to your ChatGPT account (via Box, Dropbox, GitHub, as well as various Google and Microsoft services for calendars, file storage, and more). OpenAI has fixed the exploit, but if you use connections with third-party tools with any AI chatbot, be careful with what data you share.
