Multiple people have uploaded evidence of their speakers overheating to Reddit. One user posted photos of the damage done to their speaker, which then saw other Roam owners follow up saying they’d experienced similar. Some of those affected confirmed Sonos acknowledged the damage and replaced their speaker. If you own a Sonos Roam, be careful when recharging the speaker and don’t leave it unattended when on charge for long periods.
