We visited Italy in August last year and why we’re going to do everything to avoid it next time: 1. If you’re not in a touristic place (example: Venice, the coast) a lot of places will be closed as this is the month many Italians take their annual holiday. 2. Because this is when many take their holiday, that means that vacation spots will be more crowded as well! 3. It’s HOT.
