You’ve heard of Lago di Braies, but what about Lago di Carezza? The clear water with blue hues, forest and mountain background makes it seem you stepped into a painting. Also known as Karersee (German name) or Rainbow Lake due to its magical colors, it’s the prettiest lake in the Dolomites. The best part is: you don’t have to hike to it! Although you can hike around the lake that’s about a 20 min loop, but you’ll probably take longer to soak in the sights.
