It’s World Elephant Day! 🌏🐘 We’re so grateful for the opportunity to care for this incredible species (for 70+ years and counting!), and share with our guests every day about what makes these animals so special. Asian elephants are endangered with only about 40,000-50,000 left in the wild. They face threats like habitat loss, human-elephant conflict and poaching.
