Say hello to Booper, the puzzle master of our Asian elephant herd! 🧩🐘 Every animal at Tulsa Zoo receives personalized enrichment tailored to their individual strengths, preferences and needs. It is an essential part of routine care, helping elephants like Booper stay mentally sharp and engaged. Forms of enrichment can include auditory, olfactory, social, visual, foraging, object manipulation, training and habitat changes. Keeper Chance shares how puzzle feeders provide enrichment that challenges Booper's brain and encourages natural foraging behaviors.
