Netflix is bringing A Different World back—this time, with the next generation. The sequel series will follow Deborah Wayne, daughter of Dwayne and Whitley, as she navigates life at an HBCU. #FeliciaPride is writing and executive producing the project, with original show creatives #DebbieAllen, #GinaPrince-Bythewood, #ReggieBythewood, #TomWerner, and #MandySummers also on board. The pilot is set to film in Atlanta this June, with casting underway for Deborah and her classmates.
