We only do this THREE times a year. 😳 That’s right, on three of the 38 NASCAR Cup Series events each season feature a ‘backwards pit stop’ where the direction of pit road is mirrored from a typical race weekend. Watkins Glen, Mexico City, and the Chicago Street Course present a unique challenge to our pit crews. With the right circumstances, our pit crews have pulled off four tire pit stops in just over 8 seconds on a normal pit stop. With backwards pit stops, pit stops will typically take over 10 seconds to complete.
