The Arizona Diamondbacks’ City Connect uniforms of past and present were on full display for a full-scale big-league takeover at El Oso Park during an epic high school baseball showdown, hosted by the D-backs and kicked off by Alek Thomas, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Two dynamic teams—made up of Major League Baseball (MLB) Nike RBI alumni, current players, and rising prospects—hit the field in stunning fashion, each repping a different D-backs City Connect uniform. One squad sported the classic Sonoran-sand “Serpientes” look, while the other debuted the electric new purple and teal jerseys. This night was more than a game—it was a celebration of the D-backs' commitment to the community through the Nike RBI program, creating opportunities for young athletes from underserved areas to thrive in the sport.
