Is Zion National Park on your bucket list? Don’t Miss:
🥾: ‘The Narrows’ — one of the world’s longest slot canyons, and YES, you can hike through the rushing river!
At its deepest point, the Narrows is only about 20 feet wide and the walls can reach 1,000 feet! You’ll feel like you’re walking through a towering maze of rock! 👀
Essential Safety Tips:
☑️ ALWAYS check trail conditions - do NOT attempt if there is a flash flood warning. Check the parks website:, check the safety water level gauge that’s posted at the hike entrance. When in doubt, ask a ranger 👍.
☑️ This was our 2nd time hiking the Narrows and regardless of the time of season, we prefer renting gear to make the trek enjoyable.
▫️ALWAYS rent or buy: water boots and thick walking stick to navigate the rocks and rapids.
▫️SEASONAL ❄️: Gators to stay dry —although your feet will still be submerged 🥶.
TIP: there are multiple rental spots right outside the park!
