Content Pay Transparency Time 💸 Back again with another pay transparency video, and quick disclaimer, this isn’t to brag at all. I’m a full-time student with an on-campus job, so content creation isn’t my only source of income… but it definitely helps. Some months are great, others are slower, and yes,this is the amount that actually hit my bank account…not counting pending brand deals (which I have a lot pending !!) Here’s what affects when & how I get paid: 🎀 Net 30/60/90: I can post a video today but won’t see the payment until 30/60/90 days later, depending on the contract. 🎀 Pulses: For long-term collabs, brands sometimes split the payment into multiple “pulses.” Ex: $500 total, but $250 paid over two months. 🎀 Bonuses: If a brand wants to use my content for ads, they pay extra for usage rights. 🎀 Quarters: Q1 (Jan–March) is usually slow because brands are saving up their marketing budgets, usually October - December, i get the most collaborations !!
