❗️Koenigsegg has officially reclaimed its 0–400–0km/h and 0–250–0mph world records from the Rimac Nevera R.
Just weeks ago, Rimac had set a blistering 0–400–0km/h time of 25.79 seconds, overtaking Koenigsegg’s previous benchmark.
Now, at the Örebro airfield in Sweden, factory test driver Markus Lundh piloted the Jesko Absolut to an even faster 25.21 seconds, verified by Racelogic timing gear, taking the title back for Sweden in dominant fashion.
The performance leap comes from Koenigsegg’s new “Absolut Overdrive” software package, which refines the Light Speed Transmission, engine mapping, and traction control systems.
Despite the challenge of a drying runway following earlier rain, the Jesko Absolut delivered blistering results that were over 2.6 seconds faster than the brand’s own 2024 record.
Koenigsegg has confirmed that the software improvements will be rolled out to customer Jesko Absolut models, allowing owners to experience the same performance benefits.
