Meet Rachel—after her divorce, she found grace, healing, and hope among God’s people: “After my divorce, I was spiraling. I felt broken, lost, and unsure of where to turn. I didn’t feel like I could return to my previous church, but a friend invited me to attend The Crossing with her, and I said yes. That first service felt like God was speaking directly to me. There have been Sundays when I’ve sat in that auditorium with tears streaming down my face, overwhelmed by how deeply God’s message poured into my hurting soul. Not long after, I joined the church at the Newcomers Brunch. My friend and I also attended DivorceCare together, and through that, I began to heal. I learned how to forgive, face the pain, and most importantly, accept the grace of God that I never believed was meant for me.
