Photography was a hobby of mine before it turned into my profession. And it’s really important that I take time to remember that... trying to make it a goal of mine to consistently shoot for fun (maybe you guys can hold me accountable). A thought I had this particular morning: “I could format the card — completely wipe away everything that I just shot — and that’d be ok. Because the purpose isn’t just to keep up with the hamster wheel (but also if it gave me content to post on here, I wouldn’t mind…). The purpose is to enjoy the art of it — hearing the click of the shutter and capturing this pretty, pretty beach town of mine.
