Proud to have some of my artwork exhibited at the D-arts 29th International Conference Information Visualisation at Darmstadt University. As part of my digital graffiti series, these 6 companion images are stills from separate animations. They highlight the collapse of graphic design as a culturally relevant discipline and the takeover of a corporate system based template design, often used to brand international and luxury marketing, with it’s use of global cities. It’s nostalgic in that it uses various media technology, like glitches, noise, film emulations, print design and graffiti markings to become my brushes and create an abstract expressionist image that a layer and collage within custom animation systems. #techspressionism #digitalart_network #glitchart #nostalgiacore #abstractexpressionism #graphicdesign
