adam silvera does an excellent job making me fall in love with characters that I know will break my heart when he inevitably kills them off, and the first to die at the end is no different. this book was just as heartbreaking (and somehow as joyous and heartwarming) as they both die at the end and i loved getting to see death cast launch and all the kinks worked out. i loved the cameos from characters we got glimpses of in tbdate, and full on ugly cried when a few of them turned up in this story. seriously, it’s so well done and figuring out how some of these characters fit into the other book was one of my favorite parts of reading. silvera’s characters are always so real and true to themselves and i never tire of his honesty on the page. these books read like a love letter to new york and living the life you deserve and I cried my way through them both for so many reasons. orion and valentino were the perfect pair to tell this story with, and I am so glad the Death Cast universe e...
