do you ever talk about a book so much you can feel yourself annoying other people, but you don’t care because you just love the book? hi. please read and they lived . . . because i will keep annoying you until you do. as a fat kid (& adult), i spent a lot of time worrying about how i looked and how other people were seeing my body. reading a character like chase who had the same thoughts and feelings i often did (do, let’s be real) hit me right in the gut. this book is honest, and blunt and i truly love it so much. it’s a story about learning to love *yourself* and damn did it burrow it’s way into my heart. chase is a special character for me, and i’m so damn excited to be able to pick up this book and read about someone who looks and feels like i do. 💙 . . .
