There’s officially a countdown to our collective cancellation date, probably somewhere in the year 2090, thanks to a wave of “robophobic” videos we can’t stop making or laughing at.

The trend feels like a cathartic pushback to the nonstop AI hype tech companies keep shoving at us, combined with the looming dread that robots might take our jobs before we even make it to middle management.
