Looking back at our Joffrey San Francisco Summer Intensive culminating performance, Stellium, brought bold expression, strength, and individuality to the stage. Under the direction of Artistic Director Josie Walsh ballet_red , dancers expanded beyond classical form into the realm of contemporary ballet, exploring movement with both precision and freedom. Over a rigorous two weeks of training, dancers immersed themselves in daily ballet and pointe classes, contemporary ballet, modern, and contemporary dance—building a strong technical base while discovering new ways to move and express. Guided by faculty of working professionals and acclaimed choreographers, students were challenged to grow artistically and technically in every class.
