Two weeks of rhythm, history, and innovation came to a joyful close at our NYC Tap Summer Intensive! From mastering fundamentals to stepping into contemporary and cutting-edge styles, dancers immersed themselves in the art form’s rich past, dynamic present, and exciting future. Each day was a chance to refine technique, expand repertoire, and discover new ways to tell stories through sound and movement.⁠ ⁠ Improvisation brought moments of spontaneity, while the study of historic forms deepened each student’s connection to tap’s legacy. The energy in the studios was equal parts focused and playful, with every shuffle, flap, and time step building toward something greater.
