Tropical Storm #ERIN will be one to watch in the northern Caribbean Islands, Turks & Caicos, Bahamas by the weekend into next week. National Hurricane Center projecting Erin to become a Major Hurricane, Category 3 with 115mph sustained winds by Sunday. There has been a subtle south trend with model guidance, which could bring the system near/north of the Caribbean Islands this weekend. On the present projected path, only “grazing” impacts expected with higher rip current risk, wave heights along northern facing coast. However, we can’t completely discount a closer path to the islands to bring greater impacts. Stay up to date with the forecast.
