A Letter to my freshman year 📬

Coming into Morehouse I didn’t have that many crazy expectations for myself, I just wanted to enjoy the house as much as possible, whether that was going to a few parties, making lots of friends and just enjoying school for school. I had no idea that my desire to take pictures on the side would become a full time job. I’ve won so much this year and have failed just as much, there were so many sleepless nights editing photos, sending emails for credentials, and pushing myself harder than anyone around me. I was told to rest, to take a break, to not burnout, i learned so many things the hard way but with each came a new opportunity. .

To my Freshman year, i can’t thank you enough for knocking me down but always picking me right back up, to the friends that supported me throughout this year, thank you for being my models when i wanted to practice, thank you for being a voice of constant encouragement, and thank you for being my family.
