A new bridge highlights an 85-year-old piece of local history in Burleson County. TxDOT replaced a 1940-built truss bridge on CR 146 at Birch Creek, but was able to save and rehab the former bridge's trusses. They're now installed as decoration on the new bridge. It's a part of how TxDOT works to preserve bridges and their history across the state. #BeyondTheRoad
