Today is a big day for USD, the USD Sanford School of Medicine and the state of South Dakota. Together we are expanding medical students' learning opportunities, growing our research capacity, and strengthening collaboration with our state’s health care systems — all while serving the people of South Dakota. We are proud to announce that the USD Sanford School of Medicine will move the first 18 months of the Doctor of Medicine program, as well as the Division of Biomedical & Translational Sciences, from Vermillion to Sioux Falls starting in summer of 2027.
