UC Berkeley is partnering with local brewery Bear Republic Brewing Company this fall to create a Berkeley-themed craft beer. Called Oski’s California Gold, the new craft beer will be sold at California Memorial Stadium during sporting events as well as at select Bay Area stores and event venues, University Business Partnerships and Services Director of Communications and Brand Management Amber Hopkins said in an email. UC Berkeley’s first official licensed craft beer partnership will designate Bear Republic Brewing Company as the “official craft beer of Cal,” according to an Aug. 7 press release.
