AC Transit’s Realign plan went into effect Aug. 10. The program includes a comprehensive list of changes which add, alter or remove bus routes from all across the East Bay. This implementation of Realign comes after years of development and community input in an effort to address financial constraints and decreases in transit ridership since the COVID-19 pandemic, according to AC Transit’s website.
