With #WorldHelicopterDay this Sunday, we are honouring those who go above and beyond in everything they do - our police Air Wing 🚁 They provide statewide aerial support for a number of policing operations, including tactical deployment, rescues, searches, aerial observation, training and overall public reassurance. Their fleet is made up of three Leonardo AW-139 helicopters and one King Air 350 ER fixed wing aircraft, with a minimum of one helicopter rostered to provide a police response state-wide, 24 hours a day! So thank you Air Wing, for always being there during turbulent times 😉
