“No one really prepares you for what happens after the cap and gown.” On campus, your community is built in. Your friends live down the hall. Support services are a short walk away. Events, clubs, and safe spaces are part of your everyday routine. Then graduation comes. Suddenly, you’re navigating a new city or moving back home. You’re working longer hours. Friend meetups require weeks of planning. Bills, rent, and student loans start to shape your calendar and your energy. That closeness you felt is harder to find, and loneliness can quietly creep in. We know that shift can be jarring, and it’s something so many of us don’t talk about enough.
