We had the joy of attending the ribbon cutting for Goodr’s new Little Loaf Community Grocery Store in the heart of Sweet Auburn, a neighborhood rooted in Black history and resilience, yet one that’s long faced barriers to fresh, affordable food. The Little Loaf store, opening this July at 381 Edgewood Ave NE, is part of Goodr’s next-generation market concept—a compact deli within a larger Goodr Market that offers affordable meals and fresh groceries in a neighborhood that’s lacked consistent access to healthy food . With ultra‑low pricing (think $5 for a full sandwich combo, $2 kids’ meals, and family meals under $20), plus a “sandwich token” system where community members can gift meals to people in need, Little Loaf brings fresh, dignified food access with real impact. goodrco, led by jasminecrowe is reimagining what food access can look like, and this store proves that community care, innovation, and nourishment can all live under one roof.
