Last night we had our first ever open mic night and thanks to you, we enjoyed several art forms from poetry to rapping to joke telling, and song. Let’s give it up for the people that graced the mic with vulnerability and courage last night. It isn’t easy to share your art but we appreciate you for doing it anyway! We want to also sincerely thank Jamila, Shanise, Rock, Faith, and Tana at Brooklyn Tea for hosting us and making our event so special. We hope this is the first of many future collaborations.
