I can't let
#nationalsiblingday go by without a post about my precious Gremlin baby sister tessalbrecht! She was born when I was 6 and 1/2 (the half mattered back then) and I was so excited to have a little sibling to play with and dress up. I remember the first time I saw her, about an hour after she was born, and I was disappointed because she was slimy. They hadn't bathed her yet and I was expecting a cute cherub child that would smile at me and instantly want to play Barbies. Instead, there was this shriveled, toothless blob with one eyebrow who kept me up at night. But, that little blob soon grew to be my best friend. We got the chicken pox together and played many a game of dress up. Her unibrow turned into two eyebrows and she developed the best sense of humor. I laugh more with Tessie than anyone. Love you my little piece of poo!
