A major sticking point for some pundits in the media is the number of handpasses in intercounty games (it's always intercounty games that are referenced not club games), and as part of Jim Gavin's continued quest to change the game, a rule to introduce a kick pass after every handpass was introduced in the latest FRC 'sandbox' game. But how would that work in situations such as the above from a weekend championship club game? Would the attacking team in this case have opted for the point instead of a goal if the option for a quick handpass 1-2 was removed? Would it make it easier to defend these situations? Would it be best to let the rules settle for a year or two to see how teams adapt? #FRC #gaelicfootball
