Martha Stewart’s One Pan Pasta Recipe with a little tweak to make it taste better. Instead of putting all the ingredients in one pan and boiling, I cooked everything first and then pasta and water to finish cooking.
Start by cooking one pound of grape tomatoes in 3 tbsps of olive oil. Season with salt with your taste preference. Cook until tomatoes soften and then add 2 tablespoons minced garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes and then add half a sliced onion. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, then add dried linguine pasta and pour in 3 cups of water. Cover with a lid and simmer for 6-7 minutes on low. Remove lid and mix pasta to separate the noodles. You may have to add another 3/4 cups of water if noodles are still not cooked enough. Add a handful of chopped basil and continue cooking uncovered for 2-3 minutes. Turn off heat and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
