For eight years smartguyinatie and lmgrigs have quietly worked behind the scenes to make #storyslamdayton a thing. I get the bulk of the thank you comments because I get to hold the mic. None of the last 8 years of storytelling would have happened without them. I have the best job in the world, telling stories and making space for others to tell their own on stage in front of a room-full of eager listeners. This week we wrapped up our 8th season with 7 fantastic tellers competing and sandra.combs closing the show. Nish and Nathan walked away as Co-Grandslam Champions. What a night. 120+ in the audience.
