Rosh Hanikra Grottos! Rosh Hanikra is a series of natural grottos formed over thousands of years due to tectonic shifts in the north of Israel. Today, as the Mediterranean Sea crashes into them, they continue to change. I remember these gorgeous grottos from 20 years ago and couldn’t wait to go back. We took a cable car down and started to walk through the tunnels. It was so exciting to be back. The colors were just as bright, clear and vibrant as I remembered. The blue was so crisp it was unbelievable. I was so happy to be back there and loved it so much. We also learned about the former train route that connected Jerusalem to Beirut through the @ראש הנקרה tunnels. Yep you read that right. This was such a great thing to do the last day of our trip. I loved leaving this beautiful country with the most gorgeous view in my mind and the most spectacular colors imaginable. I was so happy to be back here. Have you been to these grottos?
